“Cultures in Harmony” concert showcases the spirit of intercultural collaboration, friendship and hope

The spirit of intercultural collaboration, friendship and hope were showcased in the concert entitled “Cultures in Harmony: Building Structures of Hope with Filipino Indigenous People,” presented by Cartwheel Foundation, Inc. (CFI), Cultures in Harmony (CiH) and Manila Symphony Orchestra (MSO).

Held at the Ayala Museum on August 21, 2014 as a special edition of The Rush Hour series, the concert builds on the week-long cultural exchange workshops and performances that the four participating American musicians of CiH experienced with the Tagbanua music-makers of Culion and Coron in Northern Palawan.

The collaboration is also a celebration of CFI’s 15 years of nurturing Filipino heritage through relevant education, and was made possible through the cooperation of the Ayala Museum, DAKILA, MAGIS Creative SpacesLa Inmaculada Concepcion Parish of Culion, Palawan, and sponsors Park N Ride and Brightlight Interior Design.

Thank you very much to everyone who helped out and joined us in this celebration!
